Our Story

Right now, across the world, there’s a ground swell of momentum that’s resulting in people taking to the street on foot and two wheels. 

Whether it’s for environmental and traffic congestion benefits, money and time-saving, health, exercise- we think it's fantastic, and we wanted to do something to help. We also believe viable urban transportation alternatives in cities worldwide should be encouraged to help make cities more liveable and sustainable.

Here in Australia, where monkeysee has it’s head office, a good number of councils have committed good funding to establishing bike paths and create more awareness of alternative forms of transport.

Why now?

As keen cyclists ourselves – we were bored of the same-old fluoro vests and hi-vis gear. And that’s when we started to wonder if there was a way we could make this stuff good looking and wearable - yet truly effective.

And so monkeysee was born!

And while we can’t promise that hi-vis will save you, we can assure you that it won’t hurt you either. 'Better to prepare and prevent, than repair and repent!’ as they say!
